Resilience Fund

Supporting Food & Water Security

Can you help us to support low-income, food insecure households with a weekly share of fresh, nutrient-dense local vegetables & greens? Maybe you’d like to help support us in our efforts towards water security here at the farm?

Food poverty is one of the great injustices of our society. The economic effects of the pandemic will be felt long after the lockdown is lifted and 'normality' is restored, too. Meanwhile, climate change brings increasingly dry weather and prolonged drought periods in the Summer in Wales are having a dramatic effect on our ability to grow food.

Our Resilience Fund fund will continue to support local families in need as long as donations keep coming and as long as the veg keeps growing. It will also fund rainwater tanks and water storage solutions to guarantee a reliable supply of water for a sustainable food future, without depleting groundwater stores.

We believe in a healthy, sustainable world where healthy, nutritious food is a right for all, a commons, not a commodity, where food can bring us into a closer relationship with our local lands and with the ecosystems that support us. Where local food growing can nourish the mind, body and soul of everyone in the community.

Whether it’s a one-off donation or a small weekly contribution, anything you have to share will be a huge help!
