Family Fun Volunteer Days.

Join us every Thursday for a full day of outdoor immersion designed for both you and your child, in a safe, nurturing, and playful environment. Our space is open from 10:00 am – 2:30 pm, and each session begins with a nature- and season-inspired story, game, or activity — a gentle, engaging way for everyone to arrive, settle, and feel at home in the garden.

Afterwards, we work together on the Little Stewards plot, tackling tasks such as weeding, composting, digging, or planting seeds. Children are always welcome to help, but they are equally free to explore our safe, enclosed garden and follow their own curiosity and creativity. Parents and caregivers can enjoy connecting with other families while sharing in the joy of community and hands-on learning.

Each session concludes with a communal meal shared with the Glasbren volunteer team, a perfect way to celebrate the day’s efforts and connections. Family Fun Volunteer Days are always free of charge, with dry and wet-weather options so that the fun continues regardless of the forecast.
